Dan and All,

The S&L director in question was young Neil (sp) Bush, and he was about to become the poster boy for the S&L mess, primariy (I thought at the time) because he was the President's son. Please see my recent post on this subject. A good book on the S&L folly is "Inside Job," by Stephen Pizzo, Mary Fricker, and Paul Muolo.

Well this union Democrat had it that young George was stealing directly from the geezer accounts. Oddly enough I don't take what most union guys say very seriously.
