ER,

My original question still is: If these criminal (emphasis on crminal) allegations prove true, what took them (the media) so long, AND why go this prurient route when there are alleged to be many, more heinous misdeeds and of such longstanding pattern and duration?

Al Capone . . . he was a furniture salesman, wasn't he? <vbg>

Holly

Al Capone --- Bet if they did polls in Chicago back then he would have gotten a high approval rating. He was just providing a service that the government stupidly made illegal. That was the attitude back then!

<< Holly - Essentially I agree, but if he is nailed because of "Zippergate", it will be much like Al Capone being nailed for income tax evasion, IMO. ER >>

Earl, Understand your reasoning, but don't quite agree. In the "court of public opinion", he will finally be exposed as the chameleon that he is. This is simply another example of duplicity and of projecting the expected image, regardless of reality.
