As am amateur JFK assassination theorist, I'll admit that that is one I had not thought of. In light of our system of government, I think it makes a lot more sense than most of the other motives I have heard, and I'm going to think about it some more. Thanks.

BTW, did you see my post on this thread re Ms. Exner?

Now now now. EVERYBODY knows that Judith Campbell Exner was involved simultaneously with JFK and Sam Giancana. And J Edgar had dirt on everyone. Though it still perplexes me that no one used the dirt they had on HIM. He was MUCH worse.

And Dwight--look out a book called Tears of Autumn. The author's name is, I think, Charles McCurry (McCarrey?). Well, something like that. If you wannna believe in a Kennedy assassination conspiracy, this is the one I find most convincing. Even if you don't go for the plot, it's a great read, as are his other novels.
