Jeff,

Why don't you apply for a job at READER'S DIGEST? You and the CEO there seem to have a lot in common.

You guys should join forces. You both have the same "vision". I'm giving you an "atta boy". You're both doing better than 90% of everyone else. Congrats.

Cheryl

Sure,
Fixing the code is only the smaller part of the problem. It is the testing that takes the most time and where most failures will occur. There will not be enough time for many companies to properly test.

Good Luck,

Steve

Jeff -

Yes this is true, far less than IMRS told us it would be, our legacy code is coming in way under estimate, 20 million less. We had planned on being 50% done by the end of 97, we are at 70% complete. Does not add up to what your saying does it? Arthur Anderson just completed or audits and said we had the best year 2000 plan they have seen.

Serious congratulations are in order!

Are you able/willing to discuss more details as to the specifics of your operation & efforts?

I have no doubts at all that many companies are potentially getting reamed by outrageous Y2K guesstimates.
