Actually, I have seen studies of gambling addicts who say that the worst thing that ever happened to them was that they won the first time they ever wagered. I got creamed on my first investment and that taught me lessons I would not have learned at that point had I gotten "lucky." I suppose the College of Stock Trading Knowledge works like every other institution of higher learning--no lessons are doled out until after we write that painful tuition check.

Topcat, it is a known truth that 90% of investors lose in the market. Newbies learn through losing. I know I did. The market can either humble you into learning from your mistakes or it can break you if you are not willing to learn. So much for that.
My Internet Trader program showed mostly all trades at 5/64 today in lots as big as 25k to 75k and there was a lot of them. However the ask most of the day was around $0.08. Does this indicate a lot of short covering or MMs trading shares? It sure made me curious. What do you think? Maybe they are loading up.
