It's not just Janice. There's a whole cult of Tahts here at SI. None has changed the spelling permanently. They spell it that way only when typing online. Otherwise, they spell it as it is in Webster's.

Unfortunately, taht turns out to be more or less true. What began as a joke has become habit, I'm afraid. And I'm not the only one. It's everywhere (like Chickenman). See the following example, at bottom:
