Suppose the "run for the money, Oracle/Apple/IBM alliance materializes with an NC and thin client setup that raises eyebrows. Suppose also that a CEO of magnum calibur is announced and the next wave of PPC's is introduced, raising the performance bar for Intel once again. Suppose that all this is done during the month of March together with a pre-announcement of greater than expected earnings. Do you thing the stock could break the big two 'O' barrier? Just curious. Jim, Pouring salt on snail is a little cruel action, but if so many small guys exaggregate the power of Intel/Microsoft combination, then I absolutely agree why not do it to stop their endless bombardment. mactimes.com It is obvious that Apple will continue its uptrend. Behind it, IBM has agressively developed G-generation chips, which are well superior to competitor's. If Apple starts selling sub-$1000 Mac through itself or Umax, the market share will be recovered sooner than expected. Based on yeresterday's market behavior, in the last 10 minutes, somebody was still placing 230k on the bid side, but it was pulled off primary due to the closing of the ending daily session. Thus, the buying momentum of buying is tremendously high. The driving forces of constantly large bid sizes at most moments during trading hours are still mysterious, but obvious if you pay a little attention on its recent movement. Those driving forces will definitely continue through next week, to say the least. Phil
