they seem to know that if they don't hang together, then they will hang separately.

It must be like sitting on pins and needles wondering which one of the cadre will make a break for the door and save his/her hide by dealing with Starr. The pressure has got to be pretty unbearable.

I have got to believe that the Clinton's are used to the heat, having come out of a backwater state like Ark where they were able to perfect their craft. The gang they have with them, IMHO, could not have believed that you could push the envelope this far and survive.
How much do they trust this guy to pull it off?

Can they stand the extent of the complicity the bear and how much more are they willing to accept? The sound of a judge condeming them for aiding and abetting obstruction of justice and perhaps perjury has got to giving them sleepless night. Who is willing to be sacrificed for Bill and Hillary? Who wants to be the next one to find out?

Reminds me of a game we used to play. Two people pull on a rubber band and as the thing gets tighter and tighter, each looks at the other to see you will let go first and avoid the sting.

Ah the fun of it all, 98 is shaping up to be a real block buster entertainment bonanza. And we nearly have front row seats thanks to the web. Pretty cool.
