DTA,

Clarify one more time that the only reason I even mentioned takeover was to determine value, from a perspective other than the normal PEG type methodology.

I am currently holding the least amount of shares since I first invested in QCOM, having sold the majority in the 53 range soon after earnings release. I am just trying to determine a re-entry price. Being greedy, I am hoping for the absolute bottom. If you happen to know what that is, please post.

Agreed;

My understanding is that initial objectives which originally triggered the "Irwin/Andy" decision to start their series of business ventures were to "have fun !!! ",-- by attempting to apply combination of their considerable technology expertise from military to commercial applications;

When it stops being "fun" for them, they may consider available options for buyouts etc. ,--- But in the mean time, they've carefully structured the "pill" to eliminate hostile takeover distractions, which might spoil or end the game too early ;

Given current status of the business (e.g. the Qs growing influence ), my guess is, "the boys" are already having "great fun" and overall their game ( ETSI, 3G , etc,) looks to be getting only more and MORE exciting all the time !!!(Korea only an annoyance, NOT a showstopper)

Don't see a buyout in the cards for the forseeable future !!!!

[In the end, that means "MORE total fun" for "the boys" --- AND for us eager shareholders]
