Hi!

That is a very interesting article, and looks like a good webbsite too.

This chat line can be most educational!

As a general comment on PFG, it would seem that as no drilling results/reserve calculations, etc., are due until April, management is emphasising PFG as a silver play. This seems to be a smart strategy on their part. If silver remains strong, more and more analyists will discover PFG as a speculative play, and we should get more accumulation of the stock. Hopefully!

Ed; I agree, If he made a bubble it is in his interest to let us feel he is in for the long haul. His interests may have already been fulfilled.??

Ed:

Could you let me know a) how you transferred that internet address to this site and, b) how you send a private message to someone else on this string? Does it mean that you have to disclose your email address?

Silver was hammered today - I saw somewhere that Buffett wil be taking delivery of the balance of his silver in March. Of course he could have sold it forward already and could use the physical silver to deliver against the forward contracts. Who knows? The only thing I can add is that if he has felt it necessary to disclose his purchase would he not feel equally compelled to disclose a sale if it has already been made?

Someone made the point that his silver holding represents 2% of BH's value. This might not seem a lot but it is quite significant of you consider that it is 1/50 of the fund's value.

If his intention is to be a holder for now, the holding could overhang the market if we don't know what he intends to do. If he is a holder and wants the price to go higher maybe we can expect some additional, positive, comments from him?

I saw somewhere, but can't remember where, that George Soros is also long silver.

I wonder where the Indians in their bazaars consider silver a' buy', and where a 'sell'?. Somehow I can't see them selling at these prices although they may slow down on buying.
