I agree. PPP money that didn't go to all the fraudsters, especially here in California where they were letting prisoners sign up themselves and others, was money well spent. We wanted people to stay home and not spread COVID by working under the table (of course many got the PPP money then worked for Uber Eats delivering food to shutins) I think I heard a number of dollars lost to fraud was $200B.... probably similar to Medicare fraud and might even match "education fraud" where liberal arts schools offering worthless degrees from lame, woke tenured professors was a scam fed by easy student loan money. Bing/Edge says it was "only" $76B. Interesting that over 10% was estimated fraud... Sadly, most typical to far left Democrats don't understand basic economics despite some having Ph.Ds. They give Nobel prizes to idiots if the idiot publishes a paper promoting the "correct" socialist policy. And what did the current Admin do? More spending that fueled more inflation instead of focusing on the supply side. Resident Idiot: "Duh, yuppers VP Carmela. We have high inflation from the supply of money exceeding the availability of goods. Lets get votes by giving everyone suffering from inflation MORE MONEY! I'll take you off your failing job to close the borders and you can promote this latest idea instead. We'll call anyone a racist or a Trump supporter who opposes this idea, even from our own party."
