Surething and All,

Globally censoring and/or regulating Internet content is completely impossible. As I have posted previously, if someone tells you such is possible, hang on to your wallet--tightly.

FIRST LADY TROUBLED BY INTERNET REPORTS

Hillary Rodham Clinton said in a meeting with reporters
Wednesday that "we are all going to have to rethink how
we deal with"the Internet because of the handling of
White House sex scandal stories on Web sites. Obviously
irritated, but not mentioning the DRUDGE REPORT by name,
Mrs. Clinton touched on possible regulation of Internet
news reports.

Sounds like censorship to me.

To me, too. But we're an extremely prescriptive society. Make a law! Legislate everything! Offend no one, and so, in the process, offend everyone, but apparently that's perceived as being more noble. Sorta like airplane movies: censored to the point of total ennui for anyone who any longer bothers to ask for the headphones.

Some of us, it seems, feel we're absolutely Right about everything, and that what we find offensive should be considered to be so by everyone. Sorry.
