"Truth" is seldom absolute, and is often extremely elusive even where small things are concerned. It is, for example, unlikely that we'll ever know who really erased the 18 minutes on the Nixon tape. Rose Mary Woods said she did it. Her explanation, documented by a very funny photo, was less than convincing. We all have our own theories, but none, I think, will be proved.
