Legacy admissions likely aren't overrated for Harvard given that 36% of students ARE legacies.
Yeah, that's why I singled out Harvard as the exception to the rule. Probably Yale and Princeton, too.

In any case, the fact that legacy admissions exists doesn't justify affirmative action, which is essentially racial quotas.

Doesn't matter how many times they claim that there is some sort of "holistic" method toward admissions. If they can't demonstrate objectively that certain races are "born" with unfair advantages that cannot be overcome except with reverse racism, they shouldn't bother.
