THe news up hear on our "conservative:" talk show mentioned that the California State Legislature was reconsidering the recent ruling from the Cal Department of Health (? I think that's who imposed their will on you folks). Citizens were up in arms and not going to take it anymore. Bars were shutting down the gambling machines that the state operates and other types of protests were mounted.

Of course nothing as yet has come of it but maybe there is hope.

Personaly I think the market should take care of the problem not the govt.

My inlaws are from the Bay area so I understand what you are saying about the property tax. They don't dare improve the house if it means getting a permit and they certainly don't intend ot move.

Pretty sad.
