Uh Dan, You are a putts. You may or may not be a phd. I don't really care.. your words
show intelligence your spelling looks good, but your motivation at this post is of a highly suspicious nature. You obviously don't own any stock in baat, if you did, your attitude would indicate a sell at the first bell. So what are you doing here? There are already about 12 other's posing as Ralph Nader. Maybe you
should leave here and use your wisdom in a more beneficial way. This is my first post to this board....
and last until I've slept and refreshed myself....I'll be researching you sir in an effort
to determine your motivation.
On a Humorous note, you could always go outside and prepare for the spring planting. On the serious side please let those of us who "do" have a stake in this Company debate our investment's.

As far as Bill Clinton is concerned, if we didn't have a tunneling electron microscope so far up his rect** we could step back and see that he's a human just like the rest of us and I, a Republican, must say our Country is in wonderful shape. Looks like he's doing the job we hired him to do.
I'm pretty sure Joe is human too although I've never met or spoken to him. (the technology must be out of this world though with so much effort going into keeping his company from success). I have spoken to David Choi, a BAT engineer who has told me no one has sold a single share of stock in that office. He sounded sincere. But lets say Joe or someone else has sold a share or two. It would be a very human thing to do. I would, wouldn't you. Let's not be so pious, There's only on Jesus Christ, and I'm sure your not him.....thank you all and Goodnight.
A Home run for BAAT

Dan were you Lead Vocalist for RATT?

DAN, would you mind sharing with us:
1. What's your position in BAAT (long or short)
2. Why don't you answer 1. if a lot of people ask you (saving the best for last?)
3. Why bashing this BAAT, if you really want to help people you will have to develop some kind of rapport as they call it. What you do is little info and a lot of offensive esthetics.

just imho, still asking you for an answer on above

I MIGHT have been saving the best for last- I doubt it, we'll have to wait and see, not jump the cliff yet.

>>Now the question is, was he selling before or after he got the 14 page memo from the SEC?<<
Whats in it? You are sensationalizing, on purpose. Like the national inquirer.

>>Any savvy investor knows, that word of an investigation by the SEC
will bring price down. That was why Joe was so mad when word of
the SEC got out.<<
Perhaps, I doubt this one too. you're trying to push people off the cliff- I tell you the lemmings are almost gone.

>>Up until the truth about the SEC investigation was widespread, Ole
Joe was saying he'd file within 2-3 weeks. What he wasn't saying was
that Wed. was the deadline. Now I ask you, was Joe providing
complete information or is he Bill Clinton's understudy?<<
So if the SEC can wait until Wednesday, why can't you? I need more examples of lies by Joe than this. You don't know all the FACTS surrounding the company either. You still can't show with FACTS that the company is more malicious than you are to it. You know how lucky you are on the internet saying this about them. Talk is so damn cheap.

It appears as though you have more of a mission than just saving 'innocent' investors from thinking out their own plans. If anyone reads your material and acts on it, they deserve the full 'benefit' of your advice. I hope you follow it too. You've cut bait and are not a supporter of the company. If you hold stock, you're shooting your foot off, I mean it. If you don't, give FACTS, not sensationalism please, to support your 'arguments', or do you only have 'till wednesday to get your 'message' out? I think you do, somehow. Prove me a dirty scummy neophyte, c'mon!!! I say you can't stop disrespecting a mile a minute 'till wednesday!!! NO WAY IN HELL!!! (jmho.)

>>Ah, now we are getting some where. Why must I drag information
out of you? Perhaps the most important tidbit from your call to BAT
was that Ole Joe was selling. Saving the best for last are we<<

You seem to think this will matter as much after Wednesday or earlier. Yes, it's unfortunate, your needing to "drag" info from me at that very first request. Most people who put up money for the success of a company won't treat it in a way that they feel they need to beg for information. One of the perks of bashing, I guess.

Never have I seen so many gang up on one! That Dan guy is taking quite a pounding, can he hang on?

Now for all the new comers to the thread. Let me restate the issues. Bat has just completed a road test of it pulse engine technology--getting 94.5 mpg. Its stock has gone from 8 cents to $3.24 in less than two months, but has fallen back to 70 cents on the news of an SEC investigation. Many of you are wondering how come BAAT stock has suffered so this past week and have come here looking answers.

USA Today broke the story with allegations that BAT has been 1) selling unregistered stock, 2) BAT has not filed with the SEC, and 3) possible delisting. Another issue mentioned was that Ole Joe, as he is affectionately called, likes to hype his company in press releases and internet chat rooms. Which is why some of you have bought into BAT and are now wondering what you got into.

Many of you are holding long, and some of my friends here only want to hear GO BAAT!! In contrast, I have stood firm and asked the tough questions. At their dismay, I'm not getting any help from my friends because they do not want to know the answers. It is easier to get mad at me than BAT--doing otherwise means admitting their own short comings.

Presently, the discussion is focusing on insider trading, selling unregistered BAAT stock, and another one I have brought up, Is Joe the man to lead BAT into the 21st Century. These issues are sometimes hard to discern from the thread because they are buried in a multitude of attacks on me for having raised them. As shareholders, I would think these allegations brought to us by USA Today are worth consideration.

I'm trying to investigate these allegations, in order to lessen the surprise of any bad news if it does come. In other words, establish a likelihood, one way or the other, which way the cards will fall. Unfortunately, this requires taking a hard look and some of my friends here are not prepared to do that. As a result, I'm left to do the dirty work myself.

You would think that if someone raises allegations, you would want to look into them. One fact known, is that BAT is out of compliance with the SEC by not filing.

Now, I turn to the issue of selling unregistered stock. I have looked back over this thread, which everyone is free to do and have found this post,
Message 2388961

Ole Joe recently stated that current shares outstanding are about 69 million. This post of 10/97 states 62,819,176 million shrs were outstanding. Granted, we do not know when (date) this was the case, but because it is recent common knowledge and given the no filing record with the SEC it suggests this allegations merits consideration. Fortunately for us, this is one of the things the SEC is checking up on.
