Ed's Cat ANCR update:

The SilkWorm litter box product is an OEM. An unnamed source at the company stated that the superior latency and scalability of the MKII were not needed in this particular application. In addition, all MKII production units were already sold to customers, necessitating the OEM agreement. The financial impact of this OEM deal to Ancor was said to be "minimal".

Microsoft Bob was chosen as the litter box operating system because of its widespread availability, low cost, and because of its proven track record in applications that require minimal functionality. Microsoft Bob also has distinctive packaging, which can be viewed at landfills worldwide. The packaging has already received rigorous testing in other demanding applications such as bird cage liners.

Cats and Dogs
or
MS Bob is great, just misunderstood.

You may think that cats are OK, I don't mind them. If you are really looking for a way to unwind, get a dog. How many cat owners can take their cat out to the beach for a run. Since we have a Cat Thread, it is only fair we have a Dog Thread. My Dog cannot be trusted to pick stocks, she is just too darn nice.
