Yes sort of.

Rather though societies have looked at the "other" as inhuman often.

A good example was when the Aztecs mistook Cortez and his religious thugs as "gods with golden hair"...

We now know there is no genetic basis for the term "race"... at least some of us know that. Race is a human construct sometimes based on ignorance, sometimes designed by the powerful to divide working people.

Science is never black and white, it constantly finds mistakes and develops new theories...

But some science is perty near black and white... we're pretty sure 2+2=4 same as slavery is just fucking WRONG and the lazy assholes who perpetuated it were lazy assholes.

The fact is lots of people h/b wrong on moral questions.

Lee, for instance, was a rogue and wrong on most every moral question.
