Frank:

The black market issue was addressed in Forbes/Fortune(?) recently. I think the Chinese can easily duplicate the DVD discs.

BTW be careful it is one thing to have a substantial market opportunity but it's another thing to execute and take it if it develops at all!

[To salivate at the opportunity is not the same as wolfing down a thick steak! HA! - (I don't like steaks!)]

So LSI may be the greatest thing since sliced bread in these areas but there are lots of things that can go awry.

And enough people have heard the promises before! LSI first needs to generate revenue growth. But the product cycles come first and that's the difficult thing to predict.

Besides one of these days we'll have internet appliances that you can activate with speech. So lack of computer literacy will not inhibit!

Finally, I'll entrust you with asking those questions! I'm nothing more than an information sponge, and a 'net junkie - an actuary once upon a time, now playing with programming.

All these semiconductor things are not tangible to me - the only wafers I've seen are the ones you eat...
