That would be VERY bad for us all. BEFORE Biden escalated the tension with China by saying we'd protect an independent Taiwan, some handlers tried to walk back that gaff, he should have had all his ducks in line... ie the advanced chips, drugs, materials needed to make EVs, etc... need to be made in US or US controlled territory... BEFORE we start cutting them off from chips and other items. It NEVER should have gotten here in the first place. Our insane tax policies are what forced chip manufacturers to leave the US... The only saving grace is I doubt China's new middle class wants to return to the stone age by losing their jobs and having no income from trade. But then again, Cuba is still driving Chevies from the 50s...
