poverty and drugs are the main crime drivers IMO, then there are broken homes, abuse because of shitty parents or no parents.

Doren,
Crime is a function of desperation and lack of belief in justice. That's what you have in the ghettos. In LA and SF you can a person with a mom dying without adequate medical care stopped at a red light next to a CEO driving a $300k car. You have not dental care, obviously unequal schools, no police in your community, and in court you cannot afford lawyers.
Typical left-wing utopia shit. Make everyone "equal," and crime will simply take care of itself.

We've been trying that for almost a decade now, not just in California, but also in Oregon and Washington state.

The result is obvious. Over the past ten years, I have witnessed a significant rise in crime, homelessness, and urban blight. Businesses are leaving.

This even after the left has tried to create their classless utopias.

Of course, failure of socialism only means we don't have enough of it, according to you socialists.
