I think Microsoft and others are in this for the long term and I doubt they will sell at a mere double. (Share liquidity?) Have you been listening to interviews and public statements Bill Gates has been making recently? Very interesting stuff. He talks of voice recognition in just about every appearance. On CSPAN I caught him speaking at a round table discussion about the direction the industry is going. Again, he mentioned voice recognition. What ever happens PLPT is positioned to be part of something very big.

Has anyone ever seen a stock go up like this pending a reverse split? Even with reminders in the press releases?

Jim, I thought the issue was raised when this first hit the press:I am under the impression that the preferred shares could be redeemed at any time. In light of the current stock price, it would seem that they{MSFT or any of the new investors ] aren't selling, which I consider to be a good sign. There are a ton of options out there that I thought would have dragged the price down. Apparently they are just waiting to see how high this run will go(did I say that in a previous message?).
Will be interesting to see if the split is approved. I assume since there are major special interest groups involved, it will have the votes to do it.
20M, I think they burned throughlots of $$ in the past on big pay, and huge bonuses. With MSFT on the board, hopefully this type of self reward for floundering will come to a stop.regards. AugustWest.
