Both the Fox and Newsweek polls show a precipitous drop in the proportion of those who believe Clinton. Last week it was about even and this week it's about 2-1 in favor of those not believing Clinton's denials. As for congressional support for military action, the panelists seemed to agree that support waned last week because the various Administration cabinet members that came to lobby Congress were so feckless that they actually turned people away. Not exactly confidence inspiring, especially when lives will surely be sacrificed.
