I remember cellophane being used on albums, also, Glenn. I have vivid memories of sticking a paring knife into the side where the record came out, and slicing the cellophane, and being very excited about listening to the new music.

Perhaps the people who have albums with price stickers on the jackets were buying them used. I cannot otherwise account for that discrepancy in my logic.
