Jack and All, Point of clarification: What I meant when I posted that the first time I heard the song, "California Dreamin" nearly bringing me to tears is this: Here I was, this California kid, transplanted to Missouri in the dead of winter, at the time of a horrendous blizzard which is still remembered and referred to by anyone still alive with a memory as one of the worst blizzards ever. You can bet I was California dreamin' bigtime and rueing the day I'd ever left my home in warm and temperate California for the treacherous weather in Missouri. Holly
