Bill,

Thank you for your input. That's pretty much the way it was, according to my grandmother. She thinks that it was about the middle 1960s before record albums were wrapped in Cellophane or some sort of shrinkwrap. Now tell us, if you can, what's this life thing your grandpa speaks of?

okokok. that is true for 10" vinyl like grandpa bought
and played at 78rpm....however, the time frame included
the 12" dynagroove hifidelity transition, and therefore
did have a sealed shrinkwrap.
