You ASKED about taxes and suggested the GM management guy was lying. I tried to explain why he could be telling the truth and failed it seems. I don't own the stock and never have owned GM, Ford or any of the Chrysler parts.... I try to not invest in any company that has powerful unions that have no interest in the health of shareholders. It is similar to how I won't own oil companies that too many in California would be happy to see cities and pension funds collapse if it meant the oil companies went bankrupt. The hatred and stupidity is too much for me to waste time and capital investing in.
