Yesterday I paid $100 for $5.599 per gallon gas to get half a tank of regular 87 octane in my windsurfing van (I fill it at just past half empty to have a good supply of gasoline for emergencies...) I went to one of the cheaper stations on my drive home but not the cheapest which was packed. Many stations wanted over $6 a gallon for regular gas. My guess is this has many liberals here in California are starting to question government policies they supported that caused: soaring inflation soaring crime (Hell, the NAACP in Oakland is asking for more police!) Housing prices here in Santa Clara going higher again while the homeless problem seems worse despite the tons of money we've spent on it... (See open borders below) Open borders and governors in blue states like TX and FL shipping illegal aliens to our blue states for care and feeding using up all the housing we built for our own people who are homeless. Open racism at the top levels of government such as Biden picking a VP based on skin color and lack of a penis... but Harris is so incompetent that her only "big job" of working on the border crisis has been swept under the table. Yesterday Governor Stupid appointed a black, gay women to fill deceased Senator Feinstein's seat and I think I heard on the news last night is she didn't live in California but was moving back to establish residency so she can be sworn in... So he couldn't find a qualified black woman who lived in CA and was not running for that senate seat in 2024 to do the job? Reminds me of how the DNC gave Hilary the NY senate seat in exchange for staying with Bill after he got caught soiling Monica's blue dress...
