Bob, it's in the court records. He's paying millions to the women involved. Don't bury your head in the sand. "Character matters", remember that? Republican "family values"? He belongs in jail and we get back to sanity.

If you have a chance to watch "Billions" on Showtime, it is in its 7th and final season. Maybe get two months for 99¢ on Prime Day then binge it with the download on demand.

It is written by Andrew Ross Sorkin, the liberal NY Times writer who gives Joe Kernan all he can handle too early in the morning for me to catch but maybe 30 minutes...

It started out quite edgy with a lot of T&A that seems to have been eliminated from most shows after #MeToo but it still has some interesting story lines. It started out about a billionaire hedge fund owner and a NY AG who was after him.... Each season was a new way the AG ( Paul Giamatti deserves an Emmy) would try to get Bobby Axelrod, played by Damian Lewis. Lewis eventually wanted to return to England so they wrote him out of it as escaping prosecution in Season 5... after losing a battle to a "do gooder" hedge fund billionaire who takes over his firm. Season 6 was about how this guy tried to make money doing good so he could run for president after failing to get the Olympics in NY even after paying a bribe... that he got caught doing. Crazy story line how the AG was disgraced, served a bit of time in jail then comes back in Season 7 to try and stop this billionaire from becoming president with any charges they can think of.

The links to reality are interesting... a very rich, powerful, insider AG with family ties and old money to the old ways (the Swamp) tries to be the "man of the people" to stop these billionaires...
What is also interesting is BOTH sides break the law and abuse their power just like real life. The billionaire in this season even had to, with his wife, give up their "open marriage" to get the hot shot political consultant to take his campaign. It will be interesting where that goes but my guess is there will be some paid men and women for both parties to keep quiet about past affairs, etc...

My guess is about 50% of the presidents we've had in my lifetime were moral scumbags, that is they cheated on their wives, got accused of rape (both Clinton and Trump), used the N-word with regularity (Johnson and Nixon) and only a few were probably "nice guys" that were more hated for their politics than morals (Carter, Bush 43 and Obama all seemed to be good family men.)

Anyway, I almost gave up on Billions for season 6 until I heard Damien Lewis was returning in Season 7 and that seems to be worth sticking around to watch.
