Trent, thanks for the reply. This seems relevant in some ways to other investors, so I'm continuing this on the public thread...

My personal situation is that I am in fact moving to San Francisco (the city itself), and want to understand what areas other than Castro would have service available by, say, June. Needless to say, this is a major factor in my decision! TCI makes no announcements at all on their website about other areas. I'd love to know which specific parts of the city are coming next.

From an investment point of view, Trent, your experience could be invaluable in answering a few more questions.

* how many homes on average served by one such head-end ?
* how fast or when are new head-ends coming on (1 per month ? 2?)
* after the first home in a head-end area can get @Home service,
how long to roll out the service to other homes in that area ?

Or to put it another way, do you have any feel for how long it will take for @Home service to reach 5%, 10%, 50% of all TCI cable homes?

I really appreciate it if you're able to answer any or all of these questions. There are some calculations I'm trying to do to see how @Home's value relates to what they're doing. I promise to share these with the thread if I manage to get anything sensible looking.

Best regards and thanks again, Roger.
