Yes, ideally that would be the case. But, honestly, if it simply gaps up and doesn’t look back, I’ll just write it off as a failed last subwave, and take it to the bank :)

A conservative way of playing it would be to wait for a breakout to new highs, into the (most likely) W3 of the next advance. This way you don’t have to worry about the squiggles. Also, if it resumes the up move, the next rally will have some way to go.
