Your logic sounds OK to me -- but why would a major OEM have to go to all that bother? If the pulse engine is so good BAAT could be taken over for chump change by one of the big auto companies.
This fact still bothers me about the validity of BAATs claims.

Alaskan...thanks for your insight on the social aspects. Being new to chat, you'll forgive me for being somewhat uninformed as to certain questions that follow that may have already been answered...Q1)Has anyone that you know been to BAT headquarters and what was their "take" on the substance of said organization...Q2)Where is all the chat that Joe supposedly spends inordinate amounts of time on? Q3)Is the SEC probe normally kept confidential and, if not, when did the public(and/or MM's) hear about it first(the subpoena was served on 2/11) Q4) how long does such an investigation normally last?

I too am long in the stock(real long) and feel like there is still some "meat on the bone" here and feel like a sell-off tomorrow might create some nice opportunities

Alaskan:
The air must be clean up there since your thoughts are clear and IMO valid.

Back to coincidence:
Meckenstock's front (IMHO) is a little ISP in Hays, Kansas named NetEffect. www.neteffect.net

There is (was) another internet service company in Dearborn, Michigan named NetEffect. www.neteffectinc.com

Both were registered in February/March 1996. The latter claims in its press releases that it helped the Big3 set up USCAR. Follow USCAR to uscar.org and it will tell you that this is the organization, partnership between the BIG# and the US Governement to develop fuel efficient automiblies (80mpg) and other technologies.

Based on Dan's apparent interest/knowledge in BAAT does it sound like his only background is with the little ISP that links to the corner grocery store and laundrymat, or that he is/was an employee of the other NetEffect.

Based on the depth of his own comments and his evasiveness on his intent (not owning any BAAT stock) I wonder -

GEE WHAT A COINCIDENCE!!!!!
