Synapsid,

"Cost-wise this reorganization seems to have been almost comparable to the ones in early 1997 and 1996. It seems the graphics infrastructure was a really ugly mess."

I caught this also but wasn't sure how to interpret. I took it to mean that the company has been enduring a continuous, rolling restructuring which suggests that management really had lost control, focus and direction. Hopefully those days are behind us! I bought in early in this process when I thought it was nearing closure. I've also doubled down on these nice dips so that my average price is now well below Teo.

Having a big new shareholder can be positive but a direction from management is more meaningful to me. Could you comment on their current emphasis on set-top boxes and also their recent patent swap with S3? You seem to be personally involved in the industry and I respect your observations and insight.

Thanks,
John
