Come one Rod neither what you say about Marshall nor what he says about you is really fair. That being said I think you were a lot closer to the actual situation in your initial appreciation. It seems to me that as you acquired more data your knowledge actually dimished. If you ask me the phenomenon is quite a general quandary of the information age: raw data does not necessarily add up to know how. This situation is particular apt description for the situation as far as the internet is concerned. As you say there are lots of solutions out there and one of the real bottlenecks will not be machine cpu but rather human cpu. Unfoturnately in many different ways progress will be hampered not by the leaders but by countless others who not only are totally lost as to the future direction they do not really know what they are doing in the present. Rod the latest solutions you offered are targeted to call centers for a reason. At this point I am quite confident that Inacom realizes this product is not just important for DR but for them as well. That is our edge here. Let them beat peoples heads about this. DR was not equal to the task in that regard and they still to make changes to their organization. Long selling cycles explains part of it but when it comes down to it is not enough to excuse their performance so far. Fortunately they have now dropped the talk of call centers and road warriors.
