Actually, I don't believe that Rush hails from a humble background, in its strictest sense. You are right about that, coming from a family of attorneys he was no doubt brought up in an environment of privelage. But! He did start his carreer in broadcasting at an early age - having done poorly at school and abondoning any ambition to follow the examples of his fathers. That taken with the fact that he did his first stint at radio in earnest in Sacramento Cal lend themselves to something of humble beginings. Perhaps not a JC Penny, but hey, we all can't be Heratio Algiers, can we? (couldn't spell that guys name if I spent all day) So, you dropped out in third grade? whoa! Mom and Dad sent me into the coal mines of West Virginia when I was just a tike, still cough up coal dust to this day! Really! jim
