I'll just let it die after this but Newsom signed a law last spring that basically said if the value of stolen goods is less than $950, it's a misdemeanor. Due to workloads, the police don't have time to investigate or prosecute so you can basically steal less than that much each time and get away with it.

Stores can't get insurance if they risk employee life trying to stop it so they let it go since they know the police aren't coming. (Defund the police)

As for insurance covering it, so now we all pay higher insurance costs, stores raise prices to cover increased costs. We all pay for it.

If this spreads, we are going to have vigilante squads again. Count on it.

What does this have to do with poverty? Sucker punching a woman half your size? How brave.

This is just unacceptable period....
