ed, People have been saying that Dell couldn't keep it up for some time now. I think they are wrong. I think Dell has learned how to continuously improve. You would be amazed at how many companies travel to Texas to learn from Dell. I'm not down on Compaq. I own both CPQ and DELL. Why not? They are both successful and should continue to be so in the next year or two. Jack

Ed, I agree with you in regard to Dell! Dell is a US based company that counts for its total sale int he US. I live in Europe and my work gives me the possiblity to know the PC business from Spain to Istanbul! I have not seen one Dell sold in Europe, or Middle East! I have not seen Dell in Asia, Africa or South America! These guys are good selling their PC's in the US. Now, if we ever come to slow-down in the United States, I think Dell stands to loose a lot!
