in WW2 the Japanese soldiers were indoctrinated to believe it was a great honour to die for their Emperor and dishonour to surrender. I don't think Russian soldiers want to die for pootin and I would be surprised if Chinese soldiers want to die for Xi

Wharfie, (Warning: Incoming "Ackchyually" moment ...)
And the Japanese "Banzai" attacks.
Ackchyually, the kamakaze pilots demonstrated more fanaticism than a devaluation of life. They also demonstrated a level of spirituality that no RuZZian could ever match.

Japanese pilots who were ordered to fly suicide missions into American capital ships went through an ornate ceremony that included bowing, drinking tea, and even carrying a ceremonial sword.

These guys took their mission VERY seriously.

Contrast this with the zombified RuZZian masses, who don't know WTF they're doing in Ukraine and often aren't even told that they're going to the front line until the final moment.

Then once they're there, they have no choice but to charge into battle, or else meet their fate by RuZZian "barrier troops."

Imperial Japan did not need "barrier troops."
