Here's a potential application that I think might've been overlooked:
Digital Cameras

Why? LCD screens suck power, and wash out in strong light, and
have inherent resolution limitations. Using a MVIS VRD display,
projected onto the eye through an optical viewfinder equivalent,
seems like a logical solution to the problem. Millions and millions of these things are going to be sold in the next few years. Esp. with
megapixel cameras being developed, it seems like MVIS' ability to project high resolution images is a natural fit.
