Survey by Forbes reckons that Suharto is worth US$16bn (I don't know what Xchange rate that is calculated at) making him the richest man in Indo and the 6TH RICHEST PERSON IN THE WORLD. If you add up the wealth of his cronies then you get to US$40bn which is about the same as the IMF package.

All this whilst millions are starving. I wonder who'll be first for firing squad when the revolution comes?

The only good thing is that all this will come to a head in the next few weeks/months. Suharto has completley lost the plot as shown by his decision to sack the head of the Bank of Indonesia and replace him with a puppet. He is determined to destroy the Bank of Indo for shutting his son's bank down and setting up a currency board is a great way to do it.

What a country!!
