And then this happened. I ended up defeating the computer 14 to 0 :) But look at the analysis of my play. I played much worse than the round that I lost. I needed to feel better and get even. So I took chances that I shouldn't have. The game was to 7 anyways; there was no reason to play for maximum gains...and my winning had a lot more to do with good luck than my losing had to do with being unlucky. This is why I think backgammon is the strategy game that all investors and traders should practice. Not only it teaches you about strategic probability, it also teaches you to keep your emotions in check. Anyways guys - thanks for tuning in, I need to be off SI for a while. By all means keep the discussions going. I look forward to catching up with all the news once I am back. PS Don't get too greedy. If you've been up a lot in this run up, take some profits.
