I just posted this link at The Western Mining Association Thread and if you see at the bottom of the diagram..TIN ( A Type of that is:Cassiterite @ bottom of Fig 19 )is used as a collector:

P.P.S.- Field Guide says of Cassiterite -Only Important ore of tin & small red brown masses of "wood-tin" found attached to RHYOLITE are very different from other tin varieties, but once seen are easily recognizable. So, Mike, what had you said prior, here -about Rhyolites...bring us up...I can't remember your postings! TIA
