(d/b/a BTL Aesthetics): Background InMode is a leading global provider of innovative medical technologies, including the Fractora and Morpheus8 devices, which are used for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. BTL is a developer and manufacturer of medical aesthetic devices, including the UltraFemme 360 and EmFemme 360 devices, which are also used for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. Complaint In October 2023, InMode filed a patent infringement complaint against BTL in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In the complaint, InMode alleges that BTL's UltraFemme 360 and EmFemme 360 devices infringe U.S. Patent No. 8,961,511, which is owned by InMode. The patent covers a method and apparatus for delivering radiofrequency energy to treat skin laxity. Current Status The case is currently pending in court.
