Skeeter, here is my response:

>>If you judge you investment decision based on PE and valuations, you
are a dumb idiot.<<

Umm...the size of your pocket. Dont afford anything that you cant lose.

>>When you short a stock, the specialist has to absorb it by "buying."
But then, specialists are allowed to command prices unilaterally, so do you think that he/she will let you cover at a lower price?<<

Represents the short squeeze panic last week that you guys participated in, and the specialist did a great job on doing so. (Most of you got scared and covered, right?)

and...

>>If you are still shorting AOL, dont cover yet. I believe it will
correct in a major way.<<

Represents my prediction on the future.

Does the word "bitter" means anything to you shorts?

PS. I dont even have a position in AOL. I just saw that AOL specialist conducted a major rally to scare the weak shorts and to unload their stocks and sell short himself. (In other words, he was raising prices last week and sold short to supply stocks for you coverers. In my analysis, looks like you ll be likely to see an August 1997-like correction on AOL anytime. (downward seesaw)
