I've been to VIP boxes several times and one of my friends was a corporate event coordinator for a stadium. It is a good experience that I consider win-win for all sides.

But I thought the subject was tickets for the Joe sixpack. And from that pov, I don't think the stadium has to keep prices high. They can make it off food and drinks anyways. They have too much capacity. I had a top seat to Stanley Cup finale in NJ. There was still lots of room to be filled in. And the prices were not even as high back then.
