I use both Yahoo and AOL.
I log on to AOL and spend 1-2 hours roaming around their cyber-institution. In most cases I hit Yahoo for 1 minute (3-4 pages) Yellow Pages, Maps, Search, quick quote...

As a cyber-consumer, my AOL membership and my Yahoo "membership" have (IMHO) very different values.

William, if it's so "straight forward" would you be able to explain
how Yahoo knows that user X looking at Yahoo page is different from
user Y who looked at the same page half an hour ago?
