Oh, and a while back somebody was asking about high dividend stuff and I said it was too early. I have started playing them again recently just in case rates do drop like many expect. (I don't think they will drop as much as most do but... )
If rates drop, then the yields on these will adjust down also meaning price will rise. I have been buying DNP, BDJ, THQ etc again but just dumped them all yesterday and today. They hit my targets faster than expected. I only held DNP for a little over a week and never got a chance to add more as I was expecting it to drop a little more before it ran. I bought the others last month.
They might go higher but they all ran hard and it just seems like too much, too fast. If they pull back, I'll look to reenter.

There are many ways to make money and I'm sure there will be somebody to come along and totally disagree with this: Who in their right mind would lend the government money at 4% when they are spending and racking up debt at this pace?

I suggest you "not" take the bait. Easy for me to say.

Lee, while I often disagree with your posts, I do appreciate your sharing of ideas.

Keep in mind I could just have easily written: "I often agree with your posts"<vbg>

Please continue to post whenever the urge strikes!!

How is your skidder working out for you? I'm looking for a pop in the 10Y to end the week.
