And when a person has lived 70 or 80 years I expect them to see the myths, as they are pretty easy to see! You are much more optimistic than I am. I think if someone has an IQ below 90 they will have a difficult time to reason well enough to dispel common myths. (This is only meant to be a crude assessment.) If someone does not practice critical thinking in their daily life, it would be more difficult to follow someone else's reasoning. They are more likely to hide behind articles of faith, as needed.
