Houthis have stated a simple demand to stop their attacks: Give food and medicine to the Palestinians. I don't know why sending warships is a better idea than sending humanitarian aid.

The disruptions are temporary. Yes, in the short term ships have to reroute around Africa. But once that route is filled, the throughput goes back to normal. Already BDRY is crashing.

(I don't want to have a political debate about it, but in this case the politics matter) The biggest risk is an expansion of the war into the broader region. Bibi has a personal interest in prolonging and expanding the war. And Israel has been doing its best to make its problems America's problem and drag the US into its war.

This is not priced into the markets.
