Wow, Yorkton is finally noticing one of the NS trends when they write:

>> The northern cluster of pipes show a possible north-south alignment while the cluster to the south may be controlled by a northeast striking structure. Whether these apparent structural controls are real and related to the Peace River Arch is not clear.<<

The structural controls are defineately NOT CLEAR to Yorkton's esteemed mining analysts. Experienced mining people know how extension relates to faulting styles and directions. The seismic line Ashton released (in January during a Toronto slideshow) over their K7 pipe shows down-to-the-left apparent faulting (e.g., Ashton did not show line direction) which K7 appears to have intruded--the apparent faulting is obviously NOT extensional. (BTW, few mining geophysicists/geologists are experienced in interpreting oil-patch seismic data--I think AEC's oil-patch geophysicists taught Ashton's geophysicists some useful tricks.)

More importantly, the northern pipes (K14 and K91) are the most interesting economically. Looks to me like the grades are getting better northward along a real NS "fault" trend. Can you guess why Ashton is geophysical-flying their "northern" areas now? <grin>

Thanx and Best Regards, T.
